IGT Bianco dell'Umbria
“Orzalume” Bianco Umbria IGT

"Orzalume" wine of "Castello di Corbara" winery is the result of a blend of several grape varieties, mainly
Grechetto and Sauvignon, with a presence of Greco di Tufo and Falanghina. The grapes are carefully harvested by
hand exclusively in the "Orzalume" vineyard, which is located in the south/southwest at 350 m. above sea level,
enjoying an excellent exposure. The soil varies from medium-textured with alluvial substrata, to clayey with a
good loam deposit. The vineyard is carefully monitored throughout the phenological phases with the aim of
reaching a limited, high - quality production and each variety is separately harvested. The fermentation, with
selected ferments, takes place in French oak casks where the wine is kept for around 5 months to impart aroma
and bouquet, thanks to the lysis of the ferments. After racking and further processing, the wines are blended,
bottled and bottle-aged for around 2 months before being finally put on the market.
